There isn’t any reason that every woman can’t be fashionable, even during the winter. Women’s winter fashions can be fun if you know how to choose them. Just because you need to stay warm is no reason you can’t be fashionable and stylish.

Let’s start with a winter coat. I have several. Some of them I’ve had for over six years, like my leather coat. I enjoy wearing it and always get compliments on it. It’s so easy to care for, I just clean it with a good wipe down with leather protector at the beginning of the season and have it professional cleaned at the end of the season. My leather coat is a very classic style, a leather swing coat. It’s also a classic color, dark brown. It certainly ended up being a bargain since I’ve been wearing it for so long, and have many more years of use to get out of it.

Another great investment was my women’s fine leather gloves. Again, sometime that’s easy to care for and long lasting. I’ve had one pair of my gloves for eight years now. They’re warm as they’re cashmere lined. They go great with my dress wool coat.

Ah, my women’s dress wool coat. I love it. It’s a classic double breasted style that keeps me very warm. I pair it with a colorful pashmina scarf to give it an updated look and a pop of color. My newest scarf is a shearling scarf from Uggs, I wear it when I wear my Ugg boots.

Along with a pashmina scarf I love winter hats. I have several different ones for different weather conditions. I wear my boiled wool hat when it’s snowing as it’s so dense it doesn’t get wet. I wear my suede and shearing hat in the bitter cold because it keeps me so warm. Just like my leather coat, fine leather gloves and wool coat I purchase women’s winter hats in classic colors of black, blue, brown or tan which is the reason I can wear them from year to year. My favorite winter hats are from Helen Kaminski Collection and also from Eric Javits.

I also have several different boots, as I mentioned I have the shearling Uggs, a pair of women’s winter boots, two pair of women’s designer winter boots and a pair of Trotters which are water repellant and great for real winter weather.

The secret to having a fabulous womens winter fashion wardrobe is to purchase classic items which will always be in style.
